The data within this layer was initially captured by Transmap in 2014 using the ON-SIGHTTMsystem. The ON-SIGHTTMsystem uses a mapping vehicle equipped with a calibrated camera and on-board data management hardware/software, and on-board global positioning system. Tranmap also established an external ground control network to support field data capture quality control efforts to sub-meter accuracy throughout the project. After the City of Shoreline recieved this data, it performed its own QA, made the necessary changes and updates to the data, and added more fields, as necessary, to ensure the data needs and requirements of the City of Shoreline . |
