Aurora Ave N (SR 99) and I-5 divide the City into East, Central and West regions. N 175th St divides the City into North and South regions. Each maintenance zone was also given a number starting in the Northwest corner and ending in the Southeast corner.After much use, it was discovered that work flow on State Highway 99 has a different protocol than other less traveled streets. State Highways require at least a two man crew for surface water and street maintenance due to the volume and speed of the road.
